Second ATI 7500 PCI does not work.

I have a system running Gentoo:

IWill MPX2 motherboard
Dual AMD MP 2200++
2 Gig RAM
ATI 8500 Radeon Video AGP

This works except there is no output from the DVI-I port on the video card so the second monitor does not work.

Installed an ATI 7500 Radeon card in a spare PCI slot. Now there is no video out from either card, any port. Remove the 7500 and everything works as before.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
