firefox won;t run first time, afterwards everything OK and r

emerged mozilla-firefox.

Clicing on firefox it starts to execute, the window opens and dies immediately.

Clicking on it again everything is OK.

If I restart the system again it repeats itself again

Have you tried opening firefox from the command line? Any error messages there? Firefox 1.0.2, I presume?

I have the same problem. Firefox does run from the root account.
There is another thread that mentioned this an indicated it was a permsions problem. I haven't found that thread again. I hope someone can add a link to the solution.
