Hey all,

I get this when I try to run the hal-device-manager. Any ideas?

Code:
padukes@wondah padukes $ hal-device-manager
RuntimeError: can't create const
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/hal-device-manager", line 14, in ?
    import LibGladeApplication
  File "/usr/share/hal/device-manager/LibGladeApplication.py", line 5, in ?
    from gtk import glade
ImportError: cannot import name Widget from gtk._gtk

Thanks,
P

It turned out that I was using pygtk 2.6.1 not pygtk 2.4.1. Downgrading seems to have solved the problem. Though I'm pretty sure I was using the unstable version for some reason - but I don't remember what it was :-(
