When I format floppy to 1.68Mb all looks OK, I can mount/umount the 1.68Mb formated floppy copy files to it and everything looks OK until I remove the floppy and try to mount it again.
fdformat /dev/fd0u1680
mkfs -t vfat /dev/fd0u1680
In my fstab I have:
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy vfat noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0u1680 /mnt/floppy msdos noauto 0 0
(I've tried different combination, vfat, msdos, auto file types)
When I remove the floppy and try to remount it all files are corrupted and I can not unmount the floppy, I have to force unmont with -l switch and end the session in order to use the floppy again.
What is the correct procedure to format floppy to 1.68Mb?
