athlon-mp or athlon-xp stages?

I have a dual system
2x athlon xp modded to run in dual mode
The BIOS says Athlon-MP
But what does gentoo say?

Should I use the MP stage file or the XP file?

I think you should use the MP as the BIOS says that it is MP prosessor.
