I get the following error:
mtrr size and base must be multiples of 4KiB
I had installed gentoo, and rebooted, this error happens very soon after grub starts the kernel.
I did a stage 3 install from the universal cd.
the only thing that went wrong was getting coldplug to work: It wouldnt install since im doing a networkless install and it required hotplug.
Any help appreciated. |

could be a few things. Do you have frambuffersupport in the kernel? Take it out and try again.
Do you boot with an initrd? Try booting without. Don't use genkernel to configure your kernel. |
