sd_mod

Hi there,

I want to install gentoo 1.4_rc2 but while i am booting from the live cd i have a problem with sd_mod. The module could not be found

I am using a scsi card (adaptec 29160). I used the search... but could not find a good answer

when the liveCD boots does it find your SCSI card at all?
in /proc/scsi does it list your card as a host?
does it list drives?
can you modprobe sg_mod?
