Hi,

I am watching some topics but after some time I found, that there were some post added and I was not emailed. When I went to the bottom of thread, I see "Watch this topic for replies", so I click on it again and everything is allright.
Time is going and after some days its back, new post added and I have to click for watching again.

OK, when I found this behaviour for the first time, I wasnt sure, wheather I click in mail on link "Stop watching this topic link". So then I was patient and I am in trouble again. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any settings for this?

it happens to me, especially if you just delete the email and don't click on the link.

That's a very probable reason. The other one is that mails are bouncing.

Thanks for fast replies.
OK, I am sure, that every topic which come to my mail, I visit. Second reason as you said, is "that mails are bouncing".
Not sure, if I understand it right - if email from "forums.gentoo" cant be delivered to my email adress, topic is unset as watched :?: :?: Better mail provider should be solution :?: :?: If not, please explain. Thanks.

It's very simple in fact. If a mail bounces, you won't receive it. If you don't receive it, you won't be able to click on the link in it. Thus, you won't be notified of any other posts on the thread you were watching. That is, unless you visit it again, 'manually', of course.

well if once in a while a mail gets bounced then you will stop watching that topic by accident. With the sheer volume of traffic not only on these forums but on the infrastructure of the net, it is impossible to avoid problems.

If the problem is happening alot then i do suggest a better email address, i can give you a gmail one if you would like.
