Hi everyone,
I have a lot of problems with activating the framebuffer on newer kernels - can this be true?
What have changed in the kernels, that can affect this?
vesafb or vesafb-tng no longer accepts the vga=791 kernel parameter, what to do?
And video=vesafb:1024x768-16@60 doesn't work either |

The developer of bootsplash appears to have lost interest in his project, given some design problems. Sorry, forgot to tell
MM-sources until 2.6.9 works perfectly
MM-sources 2.6.10 fails
Love-sources 2.6.12 fails
So I guess it is not anything to do with bootsplash/gensplash, since I'm not using this! |
