Hi there,
Does anyone experience periodic lockups using the Cisco VPN client ?
It seems that after I have been connected for about 20-30 minutes the computer just freezes.
I checked the logfiles and dmesg for explanation of the error, but they don't provide any clues.
Also I have tried to recompile the cisco module (cisco_ipsec) to my running kernel several times.
I'm on the following konfiguration:
Linux dk0853 2.6.11-gentoo-r5 #1 SMP Sun Apr 3 13:10:16 CEST 2005 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.70GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Using the following ebuild:
* net-misc/cisco-vpnclient-3des
Latest version available: 4.6.00.0045
Latest version installed: 4.6.00.0045
Size of downloaded files: 1,632 kB
Homepage: http://cco.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2308/index.html
Description: Cisco VPN Client (3DES)
License: cisco-vpn-client
PS: I also tried the newest version (4.6.02.0030) but that does the same thing.
Everything loads with no errors......
If someone could point me to some other places / ideas to what I can try, it would be great
Thanks ! |
