After emerge world -uvD tmp/.initrd stays mounted after boot

Noticed after last emerge world -uvD that now /tmp/.initrd
is staying mounted and I get message in boot up about /linuxrc but it not in dmesg?

System boots up fine and is running well.
cannot see any problems but the message was not there before emerge world -uvD

Any Ideas what might have caused this?

More info :
the reason for th umount error is that /tmp/.initrd/dev and /tmp/.initrd/proc stay mount after boot.
First error is the 401 /.linuxrc not found?

System runs fine with no errors in any logs...
