|

Hello, I have a via82xx and have used alsaconfig to set up the sound. While using gaim I can hear things perfectly...but when running Enemy Territory I can't hear a sound. If any other information is needed please let me know. Thanks |

ET uses OSS I believe. Have you added ALSA-OSS emulation in your kernel? |

Also, check that no sound daemon (esd, artsd etc.) is running, which could block the sound devices. _________________ "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." |

Also, kill any instances of mplayer, which may be leftover from mplayerplug-in or just a non-broken pipe version. |

Have you tried this here?
Code: | echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss
echo "et.x86 0 0 disable" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/oss |
