every time i run
xterm
or
xterm -e sh
or
xterm -e bash
i doesn't get promp. Just black window.
xterm -e zsh is ok.
I was trying strace , but it shows nothing i could understand.

try xterm -bg black -fg white _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered

it is not that simple i can write in that black window letters, but there is no prompt, and commands don't do enything.
and can do
xterm -e mc
( my default prompt is bash) and it goes ok too _________________ SfmBE = Sorry for my Bad English
