Hi All, I have ipw2200 and the firmware both loaded as modules at boot, my wireless works fine with iwconfig commands, what I get every now and then is a link quality in knemo shows as 0, I have tried rebooting the router but this turned out not to be the problem it turned out to be the modules, if i
#modprobe -r ipw2200
#modprobe -r firmware_class
then
#modprobe ipw2200
it is all good again with link quality of 98/100. I do not have any new baselayouts or wpa_supplicant just eth0 and eth1 both as dhpc in my /etc/conf.d/net, any ideas? _________________ iain

update, i think this may have been some sort of firmware corruption on my router i read that the wireless side of adsl routers is somewhat temperamental, so i downloaded and installed the router firmware from their site, all seems fine for the moment. _________________ iain |
