Hallo Leute!
Habe mich soweit ganz gut durchkämpfen können bei gentoo und langsam fängts an richtig spass zu machen!
Bin nur ein bischen am stocken gerade bei meinen "Soundkarten"..... hab einmal die oben genannte SoundBlaster Live und ein Plantronics Headset welches über USB angeschlossen wird! Dieses Headset hat einen integrierten Soundprozessor...aber erstmal eins nach dem anderen!
Bekomme irgendwie weder beim Headset noch bei meiner Soundkaarte nen Ton und weiss nicht wo ich jetzt ansetzen muss.

Anonsten Alsa-Support im kernel aktivieren und anschließend einfach mit 'alsaconf' aktivieren.

Also nach Alsa mit in den Kernel geht zumindest mal dasHeadset! Vielen Dank...
Wie kann ich jetzt meine Soundkarte aktivieren??
Ist sie schon aktiv und ich muss nur den Symlink ändern?

Hallo,
also wenn Headset und die Soundblasterkarte jeweils als eine Soundkarte gelten, wirds ein wenig komplizierter als nur mit alsaconf.
Da mußt du die zweite Karte in der /etc/modules.d/alsa eintragen, was für eine Karte alsaconf für dich erledigt.
Weiterhin wichtig ist, das das Modul für die primäre Karte als erstes geladen wird.
Hier mal ein bis zwei Links dazu, da ich ähnliches auch vor ein paar Tage erst gemacht hab.
Hoffe mal du bist des Englischen mächtig, ansonsten kannst du dir zumindest die Konfiguration von zwei Karten aus den vorgegebenen alsa Konfigurationen zusammen reimen.

Für die SB 1024 Player brauchst du eigentlich nur ALSA
im Kernel mit dem PCI Treiber emuk*. Danach einfach
nur noch die Soundkanäle "unmuten" und das Volumen
erhöhen. Standardmäßig sind die nämlich "ausgeschaltet". |
