Hey All,
I just installed a stage 1 system and it boots and everything but it doesn't ask me to log in at all...not even root....what do I need to install to enable logins?
Thanks,
Mike |

What does the prompt look like? Are there any error messages before it? I think something must have gone wrong in the booting process somewhere for you not to get a login prompt. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

I bet you that he thinks a login prompt is a regular prompt!!! Just describe exactly what it looks like so we will know more about it...

I'm not THAT bad, it's a command prompt and I got the user tools intsalled...now all I need is somebody to tell me how to make the root filesystem so it isn't read-only. |

That definitely sounds like an error happened somewhere... _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |
