Hi,
When I type startx I get the floowing errors:
(==) Log file: "/var/log/XFree86.0.log", Time: Sun Jan 26 10:18:47 2003
(==) Using config file: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config"
(EE) Failed to load module "xie" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "pex5" (module does not exist, 0)
DCOPServer up and running.
This machine used the Gentoo 1.4rc1 install cd and had been emerged to the newest stable files. Xfree86 4.2.1-r2, KDE 3.0.5a, QT 3.1.0-r1.
So far the only problem I have is that Konsole displays everything with an extra space between each character. As and example:
j m a u t z @ h y u n d a i j m a u t z $
Any help would be appreciated.
John. |

As far as the Konsole text issue, just try some other fonts. |
