when i try to install UT i get this error:

# bash ut-install-436.run
Verifying archive integrity...tail: `+6' option is obsolete; use `-n 6' since this will be removed in the future
OK
Uncompressing Unreal Tournament version 436 Linux installtrap: usage: trap [-lp] [arg signal_spec ...]
tail: `+176' option is obsolete; use `-n 176' since this will be removed in the future

chown: `0.0' syntax is obsolete; use `:' since this will be removed in the future

This installation doesn't support glibc-2.0 on Linux / x86_64

are you installing from CD? DVD? Are you emerging ut2004?

I've got glibc 2.3.4.20041102-r1 going, so I don't know what this 2.0 stuff is all about..

when you type

emerge -s glibc


what do you get?

i am installint from a mounted iso image.

U need to install emul-linux-x86-* packages if u want to use 32 bit stuff in 64bit gentoo.

i know.
i have them.
and i can plzy ET\UT2994Demo\CS under cedega\NWN
and all for 32BIT

You need to set an environment variable:
