Dell 600m 2.6.11 kernel cd-rw/dvd-rom drive no /dev/dvd for ogle or mplayer to play dvds with thought i might keep it simple today, any help? --nordic _________________ listen to John Butler Trio from Australia

Your dvd drive's device name should be /dev/hdc or somesuch. But you could probably symlink /dev/dvd to it, if you wanted.
