Hi everybody!

I recently installed limewire and are now facing the problem that I cannot
connect to the gnutella network (same problem with gift).
By the way internet connections are no problems at all.
My problem is that I have not clue how to approach this issue.
What steps do I need to follow in order to get this solved?
Where should I start? I dont even know if it is a problem with
my linux box or with the router?

Thanks for every hint and advice!

Nick

You are probably firewalled by the router... if it has a DMZ setting, try that and see if it resolves the issue.

If it does, you could look into port forwarding...

I will check the router firewall settings again - but there is an Apple connected to the same router and
limewire runs perfectly on this Computer.

Thanks

It is not the router I guess? What should I do next?

Thanks
