I want to use apache's automatically generated directory listings to provide the visitors of my site access to some of my configuration files as examples. However, most of them start out with a "." in the beginning of their filename, thus being hidden - so apache omits them being displayed in the listing. I don't want to make use of php just to solve this little cosmetical problem, is there a solution at hand? The apache docs didn't yield me a hint on how to circumvent this problem. :(

Thanks in advance,
- colo

Solution:

"IndexIgnore" = way to go :)
