bonjour,
nouveau venu sur Gentoo (avant j'étais sous Mandrake), j'ai installé Gentoo 2005 à partir d'un stage 1.
Après de (trop) nombreux formatage, le système boot enfin!
Je décide d'installer Xorg avec emerge xorg-x11
je reçois comme message:
Downloding http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/libpng-1.2.8.tar.bz2
>'/usr/portage/distfiles/libpng-1.2.8.tar.bz2'
Resolving ovh.dl.sourceforge.net............failed
Temporary failure in name resolution
!!! Couldn't download libpng-1.2.8.tar.bz2
Aborting
J'ai le meme message quelque soit le paquet que je veux télécharger.
J'ai fait un /sbin/ifconfig ma carte reseaux reliée à la Freebox est bien detecté et la connexion semble établie.
Si une ame charitable avait une idée, merci d'avance

Autrement, ton /etc/resolv.conf est bien configuré ? t'as un acces en lecture dessus ? t'arrives a pinger tes DNS ?

tu es en dhcp?
si tu fais un | Code: | | cat /etc/resolv.conf |
tu as quelque chose de cohérent dedans?
un ping www.google.fr marche t'il?
car à prioti c'est juste un problème DNS

Tu peux aussi éventuellement, une fois que tes problèmes DNS seront résolus, reprendre les GENTOO_MIRRORS du liveCD afin de pouvoir émerger le paquet mirrorselect qui te feras ta propre liste.

merci pour vos pistes.J'ai finalement trouvé: erreur de débutant (c'est honteux  ) en éditant /etc/conf.d/net j'ai oublié de retirer le # devant la variable dhcp.
forcemment ça marche beaucoup mieux sans les # !!!!
