Bearing in mind that I'm a Newbie, how do I go about installing the icon set? do i do the regular untarring then copy to a certain directory? Also, when I changed the permissions for accessing my windows partition to "user", i still can't access it when logged into a non-root account. I gave practically all permissions available to a user available in that gnome-user-thingy but still have no access. I just don't wanna keep using the root account. Any suggestions? |

Open GNOME theme manager and use Install Theme option, or you can simply extract the theme into ~/.icons
Now for Windows, how does your fstab look?
Code: | /dev/hda1 /Windows ntfs users,rw,uid=1000 0 0 |
should do it. |
