Has anyone else gotten this problem when trying to upgrade XFCE 4.0
The xfcalendar-4.2.1 keeps failing with errors.
Most of the other apps. compiled with no problems.

Thanks fctk.
I apologize, though.
I really should have found this myself, but I was in a hurry trying to get the computer back to the user.

will do, but i guarantee i won't be the one who finds the fix.
i barely know a little bash scripting.
i would have no idea where to start trouble-shooting the problem.
