I am using KDE 3.4.
When I go to the "Home" utility and click on "devices" I get a Konqueror error "protocol not supported" also the same error when I click on Audio cd browser.
Also, my icons are pretty flakey in the home utility, they only appear when you click on them.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks so much for any response! |

same problem here. when i open konqueror and click on the devices tab, i cannot access any devices. its like they're not even there. i get an error dialog box that says "protocol not supported -- devices" _________________ .

Easy workaround.
1) Open Konqueror
2) Right-Click Devices icon on sidebar
3) Select Set URL
4) Change from devices:/ to media:/ _________________ .
