i looked up the specs for my moniter its a peice of crap i totally agree but its all i got for unix and 640x480 is way to small for me... i set my vert and horiz sync to the lowest for the moniter in my xorg.conf acording to the specs of the monitor and i set only
Modes "800x600"
in my xorg.conf as well... nothing is working so im really looking for a way to do it i know the monitor can handel the resolution despite its age
im using xfce4 and xorg and i just cant get it any bigger, in xfce settings pannel the only resolution that is their is
640x480@60
has any one got it to work b4??? _________________ "He who has the most toys when he dies, wins" |

Your monitor is quoted as H Freq/ V Freq: 30-38 Khz / 50-90
Put Code: | HorizSync 30 - 38
VertRefresh 50 - 90 | In your Section "Monitor"
and something like
Subsection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "800x600" "640x480"
ViewPort 0 0
EndSubsection
in your Section "Screen". You should then be able to choose either resolution and swap on the flay with Ctrl-Alt-+ (+ on the numeric keypad) _________________ Regards,
