I want ot use Kopete, but how can I connect using a proxy (HTTP (POST mode)) ??

Have you tried to set the proxy on konqueror and then try to conect?

well so try to know if your kopete version supports proxy.
If you can't find it try to go to #kopete in freenode irc server and ask for help there...

Then post here the result

Do you have your proxy settings entered in the control center? Internet & Network>Proxy

That should set you up globally but I'm not sure how you'd go about it for just Kopete.

Yes, my proxy is set well.
