I've followed the 5 steps text document about how to do gensplash, but for some reason, I just can't get it to work on my epia 10000 motherboard. I'm trying to use the theme "EvenNewerTux" and lilo. I can get the frame buffer to work no problem with the little pic of tux in the corner, but no more than that. I can't get the pictures with the progress bar to show. I've patched my kernel (2.6.9) and emerged splashutils, but nothing. I've got all the right things marked in my kernel config, and I ran the geninitram or whatever command. Here is my lilo.conf. I think the problem lies in here somewhere.
