hi ppl,
i use dial-up connection, but recently i m not able to connect to the net. i dont know why?... i use wvdial for connecting... prev i used kppp (but it got wiped away with many other apps. when i did a depclean....)
this wvdial did connect me to the net prev. now it says err no. 19 ( wrong username or passwd), but it is the same conf. file that helped me to connect prev. i also tried tools like gnome-ppp but vain no results.... it connects to the net says the same err. & dis-connects
can any1 help me how to fix this..? as u know how terrible it wud be to work in gentoo without a net connect.... tia.....

This is mine. Try adding the Stupid Mode line, if you haven't done yet.

Also if you can you should try kppp if this do not work. Yeah! I know, lots of deps, but is the only dialer that I know that is not based in wvdial (the gnome ones are, so if wvdial does not work they do not work). |
