Hi!

Did you install vpopmail? What does exactly happen (i.e. what software are you using to send e-mail)?

Michele.

Hi!

At this point you just need (if you haven't already done it) to create thedomain with vaddomain and then create the mailboxes. You can use qmailadmin, which is a very nice web interface.

Once this is done, you should receive mail addressed to domains in:

Code:

~vpopmail/domains/yourdomain.ext/.maildir/new

Did you check if this happens?

Hi!

Sending depends (mostly) on your e-mail client, so let's concentrate on receiving. ;-)

If you send a message to an (existing) user of one of your virtual domains, where does it "land"?

Hi!

You may have a problem with your MySQL server. Is it properly confugred and running? Otherwise you could reinstall vpopmail as follows:

Code:

USE=-mysql emerge vpopmail

This way you won't need MySql and there's a bit more chance things will work right out-of-thebox.
