I have a mach64 that's been running with direct rendering for some time now, but I'm not sure if it's running in 2x mode or 1x mode.
I've been looking to see if there was an option for agp to set agp to 2x.
I appreciate any help you can all offer, thanks.

in /etc/X11/xorg.conf in the gfx cards section:
| Code: | | Option "AGPMode" "2" |
once X has been started in dmesg you should be able to see which agp mode the card is set to. |
