Did you look at /etc/conf.d/hddtemp?
Code: |
root@amber:/etc/conf.d # cat hddtemp
# Copyright 1999-2004 Gentoo Foundation
# Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2
# $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/app-admin/hddtemp/files/hddtemp-conf.d,v 1.2 2004/07/14 21:14:10 agriffis Exp $
# the hddtemp executable
HDDTEMP_EXEC=/usr/sbin/hddtemp
# a list of drives to check
HDDTEMP_OPTS="--listen 127.0.0.1 /dev/hda"
|
In the HDDTEMP_OPTS variable you have to specify the drives to check and hdc is not in there by default. |
