I'm running an Orinoco Classic Gold (PC card) card on kernel 2.6.11-gentoo-r3, I installed pcmcia-cs (with emerge) and my kernel source, and when I plug my card in, it does nothing. Any ideas on where I should tackle this problem? Thanks. |

I also have an orinoco gold installed in my laptop. I run debian on the laptop, but I guess it's not such a difference in respect to this problem.
Anyway, just download the the mad-wifi driver CVS-snapshot from here http://madwifi.sourceforge.net, compile and install and then it was the ath_hal driver for my card. Maybe this is also in portage, just do a "-s". |
