Hi,
I'm trying to switch from windows to linux, but I have an irritating problem:
in windows I do send many mails with attachment by right-clicking on the attachment, and then sendto->mail
I've been looking for a similar solution in linux, but I can't find it. I'm using kde 3.3 and mozilla thunderbird as mailclient. Has someone an idea how to fix this?
Thanks! |

I don't know about Thunderbird, but with KMail, you can right click on any file in Konqueror and "Open With" and select KMail and it'll start a new message with the selected file as an attachment. So I suppose you could somehow permanently add an "Open With KMail" menu option, but I don't know how to do that. Read up in the KDE Docs. |

This doesn't work with Thunderbird...
When you right-click on an item, you can select "copy to", and then there is an empty space "contacts", I think that comes from kopete, so I think it must be possible to add a mailbutton here to, but I have no idea how... |
