Hallo

Ich habe, glaube ich, ein Verständnisproblem, was das devfs betrifft. Ich habe heute meine Webcam angeschlossen, modprobe pwc ausgeführt und gedacht, hm, die Devices werden bestimmt vom devfsd angelegt. Pustekucken. Keine /dev/video0 oder /dev/v4l/video0 weit und breit. Nachdem ich /usr/src/linux-2.4.20-gentoo-r1/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/MAKEDEV ausgeführt habe, waren die Devices da und alles funktioniert prima. Kann mich da jemand mal aufklären?
