i have done some search on the forum about this problem, found some that said something about adding a group "video" to the dri section wich also doesn't work
if someone can highligth some info on the matter it would help :)
meanwhile i run them with kdesu ....

Code:
FGLTexMgr: open of shared memory object failed (Permission denied)
__FGLTexMgrCreateObject: __FGLTexMgrSHMmalloc failed!!!

This can be fixed - see here, the section called "3D Applications Produce Open of Shared Memory Object Failed Error Message". Not sure what's wrong with your DRI permissions (/dev/dri/card0 should be rw-rw-rw), but try getting rid of the FGLTexMgr error first.

I have this problem (only root get direct rendering):
bash-2.05b$ glxinfo | grep rendering
libGL error: open DRM failed (Operation not permitted)
libGL error: reverting to (slow) indirect rendering
direct rendering: No

I have change tmpfs line in fstab. That wasnt enough so i change permission for card 0 from:
crw-rw---- 1 root video 226, 0 apr 22 19:17 card0

to:
crw-rw-rw- 1 root video 226, 0 apr 22 19:17 card0

Now it works :)

bash-2.05b$ glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: Yes
