gen2dmraid download mirror

Does anyone know of any gen2dmraid download mirrors, or can possibly send me the .iso file? The main website doesn't work at all.

I'm pretty much down to the last straw in terms of getting dmraid to work... mostly because there's no dmraid on the LiveCDs. :p

Hi. The website with the gen2dmraid iso will be up very soon again, but you can do the same with the latest official Gentoo Livecd.

Just use 2005.0 livecd and type dmsetup mknodes after bootup. This should work if your controller is enabled by the linuxrc script (2005.0 uses Genkernel with dmraid support).

If your controller isn't enabled at early startup, you have to extract the dmraid binary from the initrd image and run it after modprobing the device driver for your controller.

I ended up hosting all of the files on my poor college's website, due to the website being down (thanks to irondog for sending me the script files).

The iso can't be hosted on my website due to web space limitations. But hey, my college is foolish enough to not set any bandwidth limitations, so download away.

By the way, the first link is a static dmraid binary from the RPM packages (so you won't have to burn Knoppix in order to extract it and upload it somewhere, like what I had to do ;p). Enjoy.
