I have changed my gtk theme, but is some programs such as abiword, gaim etc it still looks pov but in like gnome cd player and calculater it looks great. Any ideas why this is so.
on my brothers computer he is using redhat 8.0 and eveythink looks awesome.. let emphasive look, runs shit slow?
any ideas why the theme isnt chaning in every prog....
ps...when i scroll through the themes it does not change in gaim or ne of the progs i listed :S

You are perhaps changing the theme for GTK+ 2, whereas the programs you mention are using GTK+ 1 - or the other way around. The two versions of the toolkit have different themes as they operate quite differently, so have to be set using different programs. _________________ Your Gentoo woll sle me sodenly!

try your best to find similar themes for both GTK1 and GTK2 |

Try emerge "<control-center-2", and then gnomecc to execute it and you should be able to change themes from there. _________________ Excellent.. |

As far as I understood it when I lived there, pov is short for poverty... Kinda means it looks like someone who needs to buy their clothes from the salvation army... Australians are extremely politically incorrect _________________ Open your mind. Open your source.
