|
|
Hi folks,
I got nearly everything up and running. But there is still a small problem about dhcpd in combination with airport-base-station (the old one).
When I bring up by eth1 (wireless) my /etc/resolv.conf looks like
Code: | nameserver 10.0.1.1
nameserver 10.0.1.1
nameserver 10.0.1.1
nameserver 10.0.1.1
nameserver 10.0.1.1 |
If I now connect to the internet via the mode-port I got the following results from different programs :
Code: | ping de.yahoo.com
ping: unknown host de.yahoo.com |
but at the same time in another window
Code: | dnstracer de.yahoo.com
Tracing to de.yahoo.com via 10.0.1.1, timeout 15 seconds
10.0.1.1 (10.0.1.1) Got answer blaat 'de.yahoo.com' 'lng.yahoo.com'
blaat 'de.yahoo.com' 'lng.yahoo.com'
blaat 'de.yahoo.com' 'lng.yahoo.com'
blaat 'de.yahoo.com' 'lng.yahoo.com'
blaat 'de.yahoo.com' 'lng.yahoo.com' |
but at that time in another window
Code: | lynx http://de.yahoo.com
Looking up de.yahoo.com
Unable to locate remote host de.yahoo.com.
Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host.
lynx: Can't access startfile http://de.yahoo.com/ |
I found some guys with the same problem via google.com but no solution. I just couldn't image that some of you, fellow ppc users, didn't had the same problem and solved it .
So I'm gracefull for every hint.
some add infos

add infos
/etc/init.d/net.eth0 stop
and ifconfig eth0 down
does not help.
I'm able to ping outside machines (on the internet) direct via the ip adr. |
