see topic.
what i want is something like when i'm browsing my
image folder, i want those mini-preview icons, but for
other folders i prefer the detailed list.

I do not think this is implemented by the developers. Maybe, you can open a wish report at bug.kde.org |

That feature was committed to CVS earlier this month. I remember this feature used to exist and it wrote something to a .desktop file in the directory... but since the whole freedesktop thing that feature disappeared... or maybe it was a figment of my imagination haha

It's .directory actually. It does work with some stuff like icon size, and displaying . prefixed files, but no view modes. |
