|
|
I've just installed KDE 3.4, and it seems snappier to me (unless i enable translucency- holy frijole what a cold-tar fest!). However, i can't browse any local directories using konqueror- it asks me which program to use to open it. That includes home directory, etc. Do i need a different module to enable that? It doesn't make sense, but hey...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You have to change the file associations for directory and change it to "konqueror" so that it opens directories with it. |

Thanks for the reply.
I did try that, of course. It then pops up another konqueror window, and asks again which application to use to open it. Ad infinitum.
I also never get a window opening when i select Settings->Configure Konqueror
What's up with that? Is 3.4 still this buggy, or is it just me? |

I just got 3.4 installed a few hours ago. Browsing the local file system worked right out of the box. |
