Hi
I'm trying to install quartus II version 4.2 under gentoo linux.
the thing is, that quartus supports officialy only red had linux 7.3 and 8.0 & red hat enterprise linux 3.0!
I just simply tried to launch the install script, but then i get the following error:
Code: |
gentdell ~ # /mnt/cdrom1/install
-bash: /mnt/cdrom1/install: /bin/csh: bad interpreter: Keine Berechtigung
|
I tried to install the tcsh, but that didn't help to solve the problem?
Has anyone succesfully installed quartus on a gentoo/other linux system?
thank you for your help, i need it for my studies. _________________ Remember: Gentoo Rocks |

got it working:
1st copied all files of the cd to the harddisk.
change all files to execution mode (somehow i didn't have the rights to execute the commands on the cd ?)
and then
Code: |
csh [Directory]/install
|
now i gotta configure the licence server, but quartus starts withouth no fuss.
whatever only red hat _________________ Remember: Gentoo Rocks |
