Systemmails

Hello,

i got here a little Problem with my Systemmails.

We have a central Mailserver our Client-Server use ssmtp to forward to our Relay.

Now i saw, ssmtp also forwarde the Systemmails. Because we dont have those accounts in our list, our Mail-Server holds the Emails 3 days in his queue.

We are getting about 3000 Systemmails every day, so our queue is real big... This takes some ressources of the servers.... and we wanna switch the forwards off, can somebody help me with this issue?!?

"Systemmails" meaning - what, exactly?
Do you mean root's mail on the box?
If so, simply don't use that...

yes, i mean root mails.... how can i deactivate them?!? I didnt found any solution....

Noooo.. not "deactivate", but if the number of addresses you forward isn't too big then use .forwards for all addresses that you need to end up at the mail gateway, and just don't forward the ones you don't want.

that was already an idea i had...

well, we only need the mails, coming from apache (PHP) the mails for root, can be deactivated.... nobody here got the time to read 3000 Mails every day...
