Questi sono i dati più significativi di top... (la memoria occupata è la terzultima colonna)
Non capisco come mai tutta quella ram e quello swap siano occupati, è un problema che va avanti da un paio di settimane, e nn penso possa essere il kernel perchè lo avevo già con quello vecchio...
Qualcuno ha dei consigli? |

il fatto che la ram sia usata è ok... non so se sai come linux gestisce la ram (se non lo sai cerca sul forum, se ne è parlato anche poco tempo fa...) ma è normale, anzi buono, che ne usi il più possibile
per la swap non so dirti... swappi abbastanza ma questo penso possa dipendere soprattutto dall'utilizzo che fai del computer....

Più che la Ram a preoccuparmi era lo swap... Anche perchè in corrispondenza a questo aumento ho notato un enorme rallentamento di tutto il sistema. Per aprirmi gedit ci mette 4/5 secondi!!!!

ovvio che rallenti... se usa la swap....
il problema semmai è capire come mai usi tutta quella swap

Dai uno e poi uno e cerca di capire che cos'è che arriva a riempire lo swap. Sommando free + buffer + cache hai circa 280MB contro i 210 di swap  boh. |
