Getting them while listening to di.fm with mplayer. I've heard they have something to do with kernel latency. So, what exactly is a xrun ?

i don't know what they are, but i had them some time ago when viewing some mms streams. they were related to alsa, so i disabled alsa in the kernel and started using the updated gentoo package, and everything is fine now. _________________ noup. |
