Hi,

I've just installed a new Gentoo with 2005.0 stage and 2.6.11-gentoo-r3 sources.

Everything is OK but when I tried to emerge X I got a compiler error.
Which things could be set wrong ???

I'm getting the same issue as well. I tried an older version (6.8.0-r5) and also received the same error.

I'm running 2005.1 and the text of the error is identical to above.

Anyone have any ideas what the issue may be? Other programs (irssi, centericq, links, mfpc, etc) compile fine, leading me to believe that it's soemthing not jiving with xorg only.

Anyone smarter then I want to give this a go?

Found the fix in another thread:

[Code]emerge flex
env-update
emerge xorg-x11[\Code]

seems to work. I forget who posted it, but thanks.
