hey all,
I can't anymore switch between the performance profiles "userspace", "performance" and "powersave" with the battery monitor in panel menu since I have done an emerge -uD world.
With
| Code: | | echo -n powersave > scaling_governor |
in a terminal it works fine.
I also can see the three performances when I click the right mouse button on battery monitor, but nothing happens when I click on it.
Do I have to enable this function anywhere?

| It's probably some permissions problem. Disable the features in kcontrol (as root). Then enable the features again so the correct permissions are set again. I had a sortlike problems once. It worked before i did a "world" update but afterwards it didn't work anymore. After disabling and afterwards enabling it, it worked back like before. |

Hi,
I solved it this way:
- configure klaptop
- on tab ACPI config: setup helper application again (select enable performance profiles & CPU throttling - they were already selected)
- commit with OK button
After this, it worked.
