Hi!
I got a recent sonoma notebook but wonder what -march and -mcpu actually to use? Currently is compile with
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-O3 -mcpu=i686 -march=pentium4 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -funroll-loops -mmmx -msse -msse2 -msse3 -mfpmath=sse"
(hmm, well, pentium-m doesn't have SSE3, does it? So -mfpmath would be sufficient

Hm... how was this...
gcc < 3.4: -march=pentium3
else: -march=pentium-m
and -mcpu isn't required. _________________ I am /root and if you see me laughing you better have a backup. |
