Hello
I have a problem to choose the right audio device for recording (mic) in gnomemeeting. There is just /dev/sound/dsp in the configuration window. Im not able to choose a second device. But i wanna choose the integrated mic of my logitech webcam. "modprobe pwc" and "modprobe audio" (the usbaudio modul) works perfect.

Hi himpierre,
I just went through something very similar. I wanted a second sound card to be available for GM (not a usb, though). The fix is probably the same.
See this link for the fix I used. It should work, as long as the modules are loaded in the right order - ie your sound card first, then the usb sound module.
Let us know how it goes.

BTW, which driver do you use for the pro 3000? I have a cheapo quickcam, using the qce-ga driver, that, ah, isn't great quality. The 3000 looks good, but I don't want to bother if I have to use the same driver. |
