scheint doch irgendwas schief gegangen zu sein bei etc-update...
bekomm beim booten folgende fehlermeldung:

/sbin/rc: line 109: /sbin/dhcpcd: No such file or directory [ !! ]
* ERROR: Problem starting needed services.
* "netmount" was not started.
* Enabling numlock on ttys... [ ok ] * ERROR: Problem starting needed services.
* "portmap" was not started.

zeigt eth0 nicht an
| Code: | | modprobe -v 8139too |
funktioniert
danach zeigt #/sbin/ifconig aber eth0 auch nicht an;
#ifconfig eth0
zeigt mac-adresse usw.
#net-setup
net-setup: command not found ??

Moin,
schau mal in deiner /etc/conf.d/net. Dort wird sicher eth0 als DHCP-Client konfiguriert sein. Wenn das so soll brauchste nur dhcpcd emergen, wenn nicht trägst du dort deine feste IP-Adresse ein.

#cat /etc/init.d/net
datei oder verzeichnis nicht gefunden
#/etc/init.d/net.eth0 start
bringing up eth0 OK
/sbin/runscript.sh: line 109: /sbin/dhcpcd: No such file or directory
#emerge dhcpcd
da schlägt, no na, das runterladen der quellen fehl
??

hab dhcpcd-1.3.22-pl4.tar.gz auf einem anderen pc runtergeladen und in meinem gentoo in /usr/portage/distfiles/ kopiert
nur wie kann ichs jetzt installieren und das downloaden auslassen?

| wenn die "richtige" version in /usr/portage/distfiles von dhcpd vorhanden ist, wird beim ausführen von emerge dhcpd das paket nicht runtergeladen |

dhcpcd benötigte 4 verschiedene pakete...
alle runtergeladen, in /usr/portage/distfiles/ kopiert, emerge, /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start

ps: wie markier ich diesen thread jetzt als solved?
